The laboratory

The Evolution and Biological Diversity laboratory seeks to understand the
ecological and evolutionary processes that generate and maintain diversity
biological diversity of individuals, populations and communities.
By placing interactions between organisms at the heart of research,
The objectives of the laboratory are:

  • to assess and characterize biodiversity
  • to study the mechanisms of biodiversity change
  • to evaluate the role of selection in populations and speciation (evolutionary process

by which new species appear).
