Plaisance Laetitia

Responsability  I am the science program manager of the Laboratory of Excellence: Center for the Study of Amazonian Biodiversity (LabEx CEBA). My responsibilities include facilitating the CEBA science projects and making sure they run smoothly, reporting to funding agencies, organizing the annual meetings and the program for the CEBA annual conference and interacting with French and international committee members for executive decisions. Background: I have worked for 15 years at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC where I was managing an international program that aims at quantifying marine biodiversity worldwide and I was leading a research program that uses molecular markers to quantify the impacts of ocean acidification on coral reef biodiversity.
